The challenge
NVIDIA wanted a single online home for its game developer community, but had no in-house Drupal expertise to build it. The platform had to hold up at massive scale, stay highly available, and let a small internal team manage content without a bottleneck.
What we did
Tarmac worked as part of NVIDIA’s team to design and build a Drupal-based platform with simplified content workflows and single sign-on aligned to NVIDIA’s internal standards, so a small content team could run it without engineering help for every change.
The results
The platform became NVIDIA’s internal standard for community sites. It lets dozens of internal content creators serve more than two million developers, hosting thousands of blogs and tens of thousands of daily downloads, with zero downtime.
